How to Install on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

Before diving into the AWS Console, you need to retrieve the unique code snippet that connects your website to our platform.

  2. 2.Navigate to the Installation or Setup tab.
  3. 3.Locate and copy your unique code snippet. It should look exactly like this:

2Step 2: Add the Code to Your AWS Environment

Option A: For Amazon Lightsail (WordPress Users)

If you are running a WordPress instance on Amazon Lightsail, the most robust and secure method is using the WPCode plugin to manage your scripts.

  1. 1.Log in to your WordPress Admin panel.
  2. 2.In the left-hand sidebar, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  3. 3.Search for "WPCode" and click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. 4.Navigate to the new Code Snippets menu in your sidebar and select Header & Footer.
  5. 5.Paste your unique snippet into the Footer box.
  6. 6.Click Save Changes.

Option B: For Amazon S3 (Static Website Hosting)

If you are hosting a static website on Amazon S3:

  1. 1.Log in to the AWS Management Console and navigate to S3.
  2. 2.Select the bucket that holds your website files.
  3. 3.Locate your `index.html` file (or your primary template file) and download it.
  4. 4.Open the file in a text editor.
  5. 5.Scroll to the bottom of the file and find the closing `</body>` tag.
  6. 6.Paste your unique Bizfinder.ai snippet directly above that `</body>` tag.
  7. 7.Save the file and re-upload it to your S3 bucket, replacing the original.
  8. 8.If you are using CloudFront as a CDN, create an invalidation for `/*` to clear the cache.
Placing the script in the Footer ensures your primary content loads first for optimal performance.

3Step 3: Verify Your Installation

Now that the code is in place, let's make sure your AI assistant is ready to welcome your customers.

  1. 1.Open your live website in a new browser window.
  2. 2.Refresh the page.
  3. 3.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  4. 4.Click the icon to test the interface. If the chat window opens, your installation is successful!
