To ensure the most reliable installation on BigCommerce, we will use the built-in Script Manager. This is the officially recommended way to add third-party scripts to your store, and it ensures the widget is active on all pages without modifying your theme files.

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

First, you need to retrieve the custom code that connects your BigCommerce store to our platform.

2Step 2: Add the Snippet to Your BigCommerce Store

BigCommerce provides a dedicated Script Manager for adding site-wide scripts. Following these steps ensures the widget loads on all pages.

  2. 2.In the left-hand sidebar, navigate to Storefront > Script Manager.
  3. 3.Click the Create a Script button.
  4. 4.Fill in the details as follows:

  6. 6.Description: Bizfinder.ai chatbot and voice assistant
  7. 7.Placement: Footer
  8. 8.Location: All Pages
  9. 9.Script type: Script
  10. 10.Script content: Paste your unique Bizfinder.ai snippet here.
  11. 11.Click Save.
Placing the script in the Footer ensures your store content loads first, providing an optimal shopping experience for your visitors.

3Step 3: Verify Your Installation

Now that the code is saved, let's make sure your AI assistant is active and ready to engage your customers.

  1. 1.Open your live BigCommerce store in a new browser window.
  2. 2.Refresh the page.
  3. 3.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  4. 4.Click the icon to test the chat. If it opens, your installation is successful!
