How to Install on Bluehost

By integrating our widget, you're providing your visitors with a seamless way to engage with your brand while our platform works behind the scenes to capture every lead.

Since most Bluehost users utilize WordPress, we recommend using the WPCode plugin. This is the most robust and safest method to add our script without editing your theme files directly, ensuring your widget remains active even after theme updates.

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

First, you need to retrieve the unique code snippet that connects your website to our platform.

  1. 1.Log in to your Bizfinder dashboard.
  2. 2.Navigate to the Installation or Setup tab.
  3. 3.Locate and copy your unique code snippet. It should look exactly like this:

2Step 2: Install the WPCode Plugin on WordPress

Through your Bluehost dashboard, you can easily access your WordPress admin area to add the necessary plugin.

  1. 1.Log in to your Bluehost Portal.
  2. 2.Click the Websites tab on the left-hand sidebar.
  3. 3.Select the site you wish to edit and click Edit Site to log into your WordPress Dashboard.
  4. 4.In the WordPress sidebar, go to Plugins > Add New.
  5. 5.Search for "WPCode" (formerly known as Insert Headers and Footers).
  6. 6.Click Install Now and then Activate.

3Step 3: Add the Snippet to Your Site

Now that the plugin is active, you can place your snippet globally across all pages.

  1. 1.In your WordPress sidebar, locate the new Code Snippets menu and click on Header & Footer.
  2. 2.Scroll down to the Footer section.
  3. 3.Paste your unique Bizfinder.ai snippet into the text area.
  4. 4.Click Save Changes button at the top of the page.
Placing the script in the Footer ensures your website content loads first for a fast, optimized user experience.

4Step 4: Verify Your Installation

Now that the code is embedded, let's make sure your AI assistant is ready to welcome your visitors.

  1. 1.Open your live website in a new browser window.
  2. 2.Refresh the page to ensure the new script is active.
  3. 3.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  4. 4.Click the icon to test the interface. If the chat window opens, your installation is successful!

5Customize Further

Simply head over to the Customization tab in your Bizfinder dashboard at any time to:

  • Brand your bot: Change colors and fonts to match your website's theme.
  • Refine personality: Update your AI's tone, greeting messages, and knowledge base.
  • Instant Updates: Save your changes in our dashboard, and they will reflect on your live site in real-time—with no further code changes required!

Support Tip: If you are using the Bluehost Website Builder (non-WordPress), you can add the snippet by going to Settings > Advanced > HTML Injection and pasting the code into the Footer section.
