How to Install on FastComet

By integrating our widget, you are providing your visitors with a seamless way to engage with your brand while our platform works behind the scenes to capture every lead.

FastComet users typically manage their sites through WordPress or the SitePad Website Builder included in the cPanel. We have outlined the most robust, standard methods for both below.

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

First, you need to retrieve the unique code snippet that connects your website to our platform.

  1. 1.Log in to your Bizfinder dashboard.
  2. 2.Navigate to the Installation or Setup tab.
  3. 3.Locate and copy your unique code snippet. It should look exactly like this:

2Step 2: Add the Code to Your Site

Option A: For WordPress Users (Recommended)

If your site is powered by WordPress, the safest and most efficient method is using the WPCode plugin. This ensures your widget stays active even if you change your theme.

  1. 1.Log in to your WordPress Admin panel (accessible via your FastComet Client Area > cPanel > WordPress Manager).
  2. 2.On the left-hand sidebar, go to Plugins > Add New.
  3. 3.Search for "WPCode" and click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. 4.Navigate to the new Code Snippets menu in your sidebar and select Header & Footer.
  5. 5.Paste your unique snippet into the Footer box.
  6. 6.Click Save Changes.

Option B: For SitePad Website Builder Users

If you used the SitePad builder included with your FastComet hosting:

  1. 1.Log in to your FastComet cPanel.
  2. 2.Under the Software section, click on SitePad Website Builder.
  3. 3.Open your site editor and click on Settings in the left sidebar.
  4. 4.Select Header/Footer Script.
  5. 5.Paste your unique Bizfinder.ai snippet into the Footer Script text area.
  6. 6.Click Save and then Publish to push the changes live to your site.
Placing the script in the Footer ensures your primary content loads first, maintaining the high performance FastComet is known for.

3Step 3: Verify Your Installation

Now that the code is embedded, let's make sure your AI assistant is ready to welcome your customers.

  1. 1.Open your live website in a new browser window.
  2. 2.Refresh the page to clear any cached versions.
  3. 3.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  4. 4.Click the icon to test the interface. If the chat window opens, your installation is successful!
