How to Install on GoDaddy

Welcome to the Bizfinder.ai family! We are thrilled to help you empower your GoDaddy website with our advanced AI chatbot and voice bot. By integrating our widget, you are providing your visitors with a seamless way to engage with your brand while our platform works behind the scenes to capture every lead.

To ensure the most reliable installation, we will use the Settings menu within the GoDaddy Website Builder. This method ensures your Bizfinder assistant is active across your entire site without needing to manually edit individual page sections.

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

First, you need to retrieve the unique code that connects your GoDaddy site to our platform.

  1. 1.Log in to your Bizfinder dashboard.
  2. 2.Navigate to the Installation or Setup tab.
  3. 3.Locate and copy your unique code snippet. It will look exactly like this:

2Step 2: Add the Code to GoDaddy

GoDaddy's Website Builder includes a specific section for site-wide tracking and scripts, which is the perfect place for your Bizfinder assistant.

  1. 1.Log in to your GoDaddy account and open your My Products page.
  2. 2.Find your website and click Edit Site or Manage to open the Website Builder.
  3. 3.In the right-hand sidebar menu, click on the Settings tab.
  4. 4.Look for the Social & Marketing section and click on Google Analytics / Tracking.
  5. 5.Locate the text box labeled Head Code or Google Analytics ID.
  6. 6.Paste your unique Bizfinder.ai snippet into the Head Code box.
  7. 7.Click Done or Save.
  8. 8.Crucially, click Publish in the top right corner of the editor to push these changes to your live site.
Even if you aren't using Google Analytics, this is the standard area for adding custom external scripts like ours.

3Step 3: Verify Your Installation

Now that you have published your changes, let's ensure your AI assistant is active and ready to greet your visitors.

  1. 1.Open your live website URL in a new browser window.
  2. 2.Refresh the page to ensure the new script is active.
  3. 3.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  4. 4.Click the icon to test the interface. If the chat window opens, your installation is successful!

4Customize Further

Whenever you want to update your bot's look or behavior, simply head over to the Customization tab in your Bizfinder dashboard to:

  • Brand your bot: Change colors and fonts to perfectly complement your GoDaddy theme.
  • Train your AI: Update your assistant's personality, greeting messages, and knowledge base.
  • Instant Updates: Save your changes in our dashboard, and they will reflect on your live site in real-time—with no further code changes required!
