How to Install on HostPapa

Since HostPapa users typically manage their sites through WordPress or the HostPapa Website Builder, we have outlined the two most robust methods to get your assistant live.

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

First, you need to retrieve the unique code snippet that connects your website to our platform.

  1. 1.Log in to your Bizfinder dashboard.
  2. 2.Navigate to the Installation or Setup tab.
  3. 3.Locate and copy your unique code snippet. It should look exactly like this:

2Step 2: Add the Code to Your Site

Option A: For WordPress Users (Recommended)

If your site is powered by WordPress, we recommend using the WPCode plugin. This is the safest way to inject scripts without manually editing theme files, ensuring your widget remains active even after theme updates.

  1. 1.Log in to your WordPress Admin panel (accessible via your HostPapa Dashboard under My WordPress).
  2. 2.On the left-hand sidebar, go to Plugins > Add New.
  3. 3.Search for "WPCode" and click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. 4.Navigate to the new Code Snippets menu in your sidebar and select Header & Footer.
  5. 5.Paste your unique snippet into the Footer box.
  6. 6.Click Save Changes.

Option B: For HostPapa Website Builder Users

If you are using HostPapa's visual drag-and-drop builder:

  1. 1.Log in to your HostPapa Dashboard and launch the Website Builder.
  2. 2.In the top or side navigation menu, click on Settings.
  3. 3.Select the HTML or Custom Code section.
  4. 4.Locate the area for Footer HTML or Before tag.
  5. 5.Paste your unique Bizfinder.ai snippet into the text box.
  6. 6.Click Save and then click Publish to push the changes live to your website.
Placing the script in the Footer ensures your page content loads first for optimal performance.

3Step 3: Verify Your Installation

Now that the code is embedded and published, let's make sure your AI assistant is ready to welcome your customers.

  1. 1.Open your live website in a new browser window.
  2. 2.Refresh the page.
  3. 3.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  4. 4.Click the icon to test the interface. If the chat window opens, your installation is successful!
