How to Install on Jimdo

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

First, you need to collect the unique code that connects your Jimdo site to our platform.

  1. 1.Log in to your Bizfinder dashboard.
  2. 2.Navigate to the Installation or Setup tab.
  3. 3.Locate and copy your unique code snippet. It should look exactly like this:

2Step 2: Add the Code to Jimdo

Jimdo allows you to inject custom code into the header of your site. This ensures the widget is active sitewide.

  1. 1.Log in to your Jimdo account and enter the Edit Mode for your website.
  2. 2.In the top left corner, click on the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) to open the main navigation.
  3. 3.Go to Settings > Edit Head.
  4. 4.Paste your unique Bizfinder.ai snippet into the text area provided.
  5. 5.Click the Save button to apply the changes.
  6. 6.Once saved, make sure to click Publish (if prompted by your specific Jimdo version) to push the updates to your live site.

3Step 3: Verify Your Installation

Now that the code is embedded, let's make sure your AI assistant is ready to welcome your visitors.

  1. 1.Open your live website URL in a new browser window.
  2. 2.Refresh the page to ensure the new script is active.
  3. 3.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  4. 4.Click the icon to test the interface. If the chat window opens, your installation is successful!
