Because Pressable is a world-class managed WordPress hosting provider (owned by Automattic), the most robust and secure way to install our widget is using a dedicated header/footer plugin. This ensures your script remains active even after theme updates or core platform changes.

1Step 1: Copy Your Unique Snippet

First, you need to retrieve the unique code snippet that connects your website to our platform.

  1. 1.Log in to your Bizfinder dashboard.
  2. 2.Navigate to the Installation or Setup tab.
  3. 3.Locate and copy your unique code snippet. It should look exactly like this:

2Step 2: Add the Code to WordPress via Pressable

To ensure your widget loads correctly without modifying sensitive theme files, we recommend using the WPCode plugin.

  1. 1.Log in to your Pressable Control Panel.
  2. 2.Select the site you wish to manage and click the WP Admin link to log into your WordPress dashboard.
  3. 3.On the left-hand sidebar, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  4. 4.Search for "WPCode" and click Install Now, then Activate.
  5. 5.Once activated, navigate to the new Code Snippets menu in your sidebar and select Header & Footer.
  6. 6.Paste your unique snippet into the Footer box.
  7. 7.Click Save Changes.
We recommend the Footer for script placement to ensure your primary content loads with the high speed Pressable is known for, followed immediately by the widget.

3Step 3: Verify Your Installation

Pressable uses a powerful server-side caching system to keep your site performing at its peak. To see the widget immediately, you may need to clear your cache.

  1. 1.In your WordPress Admin bar at the top, look for the Settings or Performance menu (depending on your specific Pressable configuration).
  2. 2.Click Purge All Caches or Flush Object Cache.
  3. 3.Open your live website in a new browser window.
  4. 4.Look for the Preview Assistant icon appearing in the bottom corner of your screen (usually the bottom right).
  5. 5.Click the icon to test the interface. If the chat window opens, your installation is successful!
